Cortez Angel: Captive Bred

POMACANTHUS ZONIPECTUS. The juvenile is quite pretty with it being overall brownish black with six vertical bright yellow bands that begin on the face and end at the peduncle. It’s dorsal and pelvic fins are edged in bright blue. As for the adult, rarely ever collected because its far less colorful, it has an overall greyish body with its central portion paler grey, and two vertical bars just aft of the head, one darkish yellow, which is somewhat enlarged in the breast area, and one greyish white bar.
