Centropyge flavissimus x vrolicki. This beautiful dwarf angelfish has a yellow body, often with a blue circle around the eye and blue on the edges of the gill plate, dorsal and anal fins. An excellent browser of filamentous, macroalgae, and microalgae and will also accept a wide variety of frozen foods including fortified brine shrimp, mysis, and flake food, especially Spirulina. Nevertheless, access to large amounts of ‘algae’ is important to maintaining this species in a healthful condition. Its also recommended they not be placed in aquariums with other genus species or docile or more passive species as they can become abusive to less aggressive species, small or larger.
