Pseudanthias luzonensis. The Blood Spot Anthias is a very colorful and active anthias. Blood Spot Anthias have a mostly orange body with a strong red line behind their eyes and a red spot on their dorsal fins. Male Blood Spot Anthias are a little more colorful and have yellow stripes.
Blood Spot Anthias reach a maximum adult size of around 5 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 90 gallons in size. Blood Spot Anthias are semi-aggressive fish and shouldn't bother too many other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes the Blood Spot Anthias a great addition to most reef tanks. Blood Spot Anthias can be aggressive towards other anthias in smaller tanks though.
