Rabaulichthys stigmaticus. The Stigmaticus Sailfin Anthias is an extremely rare and unique anthias species. They have a gorgeous dorsal fin shape and a vibrant orange/pink coloration. The Stigmaticus Sailfin Anthias is, like most anthias species, hermaphroditic. One dominant male leads a group of females. If that male dies, then the next largest female assumes leadership of the group and morphs into a male. These beauties will grow up to 4" and are peaceful and reef safe, and should be kept in a tank no smaller than 75 gallons if kept individually, and no less than 130 gallons if kept in a group. The Stigmaticus Sailfin Anthias should be feed a diet of frozen mysis or brine, and other vitamin enriched meaty preparations. This fish is one of the most unique and interesting anthias species and is a great fit for most home aquariums. They will thrive at temperatures of 72-78°F and a pH of 8.1-8.4.
