Meicanthus atrodorsalis. The Forktail Blenny in an interesting and colorful reef fish. Forktail Blennies have a long slender blue body which fades into yellow towards the rear of the fish. The Forktail Blenny gets its name from the way its tail resembles a fork.
Forktail Blennies can reach a maximum adult size of around 4 inches and should be housed in an aquarium of at least 29 gallons. The Forktail Blenny is most a peaceful fish, but can get in disputes with other fish for territory. Having a lot of live rock for the Forktail Blenny to hide in if spooked, will also help them thrive.
