Pink Banded Blenny

Ophioblennius steindachneri. The Pink Banded Blenny is a rarely seen and unique blenny. Pink Banded Blennies have a long slender body that is mostly brown with pink markings around its face.

Pink Banded Blennies reach a maximum adult size of around 7 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 75 gallons in size. Pink Banded Blennies are strong jumpers and should only be kept in tanks with tight fitting lids with no holes large enough for them to jump through if spooked. Pink Banded Blennies are semi-aggressive fish and might be aggressive over territories to other blennies. If you want to keep multiple Pink Banded Blennies one tank, make sure the tank is fairly large.
