Red Eye Barnacle Blenny

Acanthemblemaria balanorum. The Barnacle Blenny is a very fun and entertaining fish to have in your reef aquarium. The Barnacle Blenny stays very small, so can be kept in most tanks, but have a ton of personality to make up for their small size.

The Barnacle Blenny only reaches a fully grown adult size of 2 inches, so they can be kept in such small aquariums as 20 gallons. The Barnacle Blenny is a very shy and non-aggressive fish, so they can be kept together with similar species. The Barnacle Blenny should not be kept with large or aggressive fish, since they could make a quick snack to larger fish.
