Pterogobius virgo. The Virgo Goby is a very colorful and active goby. Virgo Gobies have a mostly tan body with strong orange and yellow horizontal stripes. Virgo Gobies also have blue linings on their dorsal fins and tails.
Virgo Gobies reach a maximum adult size of around 4 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 29 gallons in size. Virgo Gobies are strong jumpers and should only be kept in tanks that have a tight fitting hood with no holes large enough for them to jump through. Virgo Gobies are peaceful fish and will not bother other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes the Virgo Goby a great addition to reef tanks.
