Ctenochaetus sp. The Golden Blue Eye Tang is a very rare and colorful surgeonfish. Golden Blue Eye Tang have a mostly golden yellow body with blue eyes.
Golden Blue Eye Tangs reach a maximum adult size of around 7 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 55 gallons. Golden Blue Eye Tangs are semi-aggressive fish and shouldn't bother other fish, coral or inverts found in your tank. This makes them a great fish for reef tanks. Golden Blue Eye Tangs can be aggressive towards other tangs, especially other Ctenochaetus tangs. To try to reduce aggression between tangs, try to introduce all your tangs at the same time and also make sure there is always some algae for your tangs to graze on between feedings.
