Golden Angel

The Golden Red Angelfish, Centropyge aurantia, is also known as the Golden Angelfish, Aurinatus Angelfish or Velvet Dwarf Angel. They are found in tropical waters in the Western Pacific Ocean from the Great Barrier Reef to Samoa. The body is a darker reddish-orange color with narrow vertical yellow lines on the body.These fish are omnivores and should be fed a mix of marine algae, live sponges, angelfish food, and a variety of small meaty foods. The Golden Red Angelfish does best in an aquarium that is at least 55 gallons or more and have plenty of live rock to graze on and hide in. Ideally, this will only be the dwarf an aquarium and should be kept with peaceful tank mates.They are considered reef safe with caution because they have been known to nip at clam mantles and both soft and stony corals.
