Serranus annularis. Serranus annularis is a species of seabass that lives in the western Atlantic Ocean, from Bermuda and southern Florida to northern South America. It grows to a length of 3 inches (9 cm)¹. It has 10 spines and 10-14 rays on its dorsal fin, and 3 spines and 6-13 rays on its anal fin.
