Pervagor spilosoma. Fantail Filefish are peaceful fish and should get along with most of the fish in your tank. Fantail Filefish will eat most inverts that they can find though, and for this reason they are not good fish to add into reef tanks. Fantail Filefish reach a maximum adult size of around 7 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 55 gallons in size.
